Comment by Colette: I used to clean the building last year and had a few experiences. There is a woman ghost hanging out in the loft. She locks the bathroom door every time people are up there. I even seen her walking across the lobby... Or at least the back half of her body. She was wearing a flowing white gown.

The 1898-built Victorian we owned for 27 years had 3 ghosts; a man, a child, and most active a woman. Two of my friends saw and heard them. My daughter and finally my husband saw them, the woman was curious, the child plays pranks, while the man was just there. It was quite pleasant living with them.

Back in the early 70's my kids and I were living in an apartment in the 100 block of West King Street. We had the 2nd floor, my Mother lived on the first floor. Shortly after moving in at night I would be awakened by a sound coming from the 3rd floor, directly above my bedroom. It sounded like someone walking with a cane. I would hear the cane hit the floor and then 2 shuffles of their feet repeatedly for 10 to 15 minutes.
