I live in a very old house in the District and I have been told a man was killed in my house in the 1890's during a robbery gone bad. My wife sometimes sees a shadow moving across the living room. I have been told that's where he was stabbed to death when he confronted the burglar.

Last year I went on a trip to Washington DC with my husband to look at all the landmarks. In front of the capitol building there was a man wearing a 1700 style costume with the white curly wig and everything.

I was going to go up to him and ask him if he wouldn't mind having his picture taken with me. I started walking towards him and he just vanished into nothing. My husband was there also and he didn't see anything.
Has anyone else seen this man?.
