All of them were rusted. One day we were deep under federal hill and my carbide lamp went out. I couldn't see one foot in front of me. I felt someone grabbing my shoulder. My brother who was 10 at the time started screaming.
The hand on my shoulder guided us out of the tunnel. When I saw the light at the tunnel entrance and smelled the fresh air the hand released my shoulder. I never went into the tunnels again.

I have also heard a voice near the corner of Fort ave and Byrd St. To me it sounds like ''snow capped peak''??? I have no idea what it means. I usually hear the voice about 2 am as I walk home from work.

At the corner of Randall St. And Byrd street there are residual hauntings. Late at night you can hear a young voice yelling ''bottle collector''. You can then hear the faint sound of running feet and something that sounds like ''puss toe''.
I've heard this on many occasions as I walk my dog late at night. I live on Byrd street.
