I lived in a house on Cumberland Street in Clear Spring, and we have a ghost. I never believed in ghosts until we moved there. She would turn on the lights and turn them off. She moved furniture. She would turn on the vacuum in the middle of the night or play the piano. There were cold spots on the stairs to the attic, and we would find things in the attic - old news papers, etc. She did not like my husband who often argued. She (the ghost) would shake the ice in his glass, open and shut the closet doors and become very agitated. I never felt threatened or in fear of her. We called her Hannah.

I live in a house that uses old beams from a barn that the soldiers stayed in during the war. I see things and hear things that don't make sense. I see shadows of people that aren't there. I won't look outside, I have a sense of fear.

The soldiers would clean their things in the creek out back. I feel like there is something back there. Something or someone. When we first moved in. My dog ran away. She didn't come back for over a week.
My dogs will bark but you don't see anything. I don't know a lot about the land. I know the one house was a tavern for the soldiers and there was an old mill. One of the owners mother died in the house.
That explains the woman shadows. But I have seen a boy. I am not sure about him. I believe he likes to shut doors and stomp though the house. Maybe one day I will know.
