Saw a strangely dressed man with a cloth sack draped over his shoulder walking next to RR tracks. I was 5 ft. From him on my horse and he just looked really strange. I asked him a question and his eyes stared ahead, so I followed him a bit and he just disappeared in front of my eyes.
I think he was a ghost of a mill worker at Daniel's old mill. Anyone have a similar sighting?.

Comment by Scott: I've seen the same figure, however it was along the tracks on Marriottsville Rd. separating Howard and Carroll Counties. He was walking west towards Sykesville. I looked forward since I was driving for maybe 5 or 6 seconds and looked back and he was gone.
He was only about 10 ft from the road and there was nowhere for him to go as that area is open for cars to park in the dirt lot.

I couldn't find a place to submit ghost stories for ''old Ellicott City. '' so I'll just post here. I went to old Ellicott City with my mom Saturday and of course it being founded in 1772 you're going to find something creepy about it.
