Once I was driving up to Emmitsburg with my friend to stay the night at her house. It was my first time through the area, and I can definitely say that I won't be forgetting it any time soon. Ever since I was little, I've been like a magnet for the paranormal. Stuff just happens to me.
We were driving through the darkness, and we came to this expanse where the mountain fell away, and there was this exposed grassland. Suddenly I got cold. Not

chilly, like I needed to turn up the heat in the car, but a real bone-marrow kind of cold that makes you go numb. Luckily I was co-piloting that night,

and didn't have to worry about keeping my eyes on the road.
In my head I started to hear this low, rhythmic drumming. I shut my eyes, and I started to feel like I was somewhere else, or that I was someone else. The drumming was accompanied by yelling and gunshots. My heart was leaping out of my chest, because I knew that I was safe inside a car, but my body was reacting like I was in a war zone.
