I have witnessed a shadow person on the Glen Burnie portion of the trail. I have seen it multiple times standing or crouching at the point the trail intersects with Norfolk Road. Sometimes it is visible as you approach it, and the first time I saw it I was concerned maybe it was an optical illusion with the street light hitting the sign that is posted, but I have seen it stand on either side of the path. It looks solid and whole from a distance. You might as well

assume it's someone in dark clothes, but no matter what when you get up closer it just vanishes into the dark.

This has happened to me and around me several times. Last night it was different . Each time I have been seated on the exact area. It's the bar side facing the door at the back bar of the Sunset restaurant in Glen Burnie. My eyes were on a glass that lifted upward and dumped my boy friendäs wine. This time I actually saw the lift and forward toss. The really strangest thing was that the name Paul kept coming at me as if I needed to know it was Paul.
Everyone jokes about this ghost who usually dumps water, they say. The bartender a lady who has been there for many years told me she once saw him, a man in an army uniform. The arch on the uniform was one from the Vietnam War. That's all I know. All through dinner the name Paul was coming to me over and over. I felt an overwhelming sadness. I know what it is like to encounter a ghost. They seem to be attracted to me. This one wanted attention and to be known by name and not ignored. I just wonder what others may have experienced .

Comment by Nicole: I work as a hostess at the sunset restaurant and often times me and other hostesses have made comments about thinking someone is walking into the restaurant because we see a shadow through the windows in the fireside room but when we walk into the lobby there is no one there.
