Back in 1980 in the projects we lived on Wilson Street. My husband and I were in bed and in the semi darkness the street light was shining a little through the curtains. From the closet drifted a solid black figure shaped like Charlie Brown. It turned and looked toward us, and where the eyes would have been were two darker than its black form eyes looking at us. No other feature was there. It was just a pitch black figure. It continued slowly drifting past

and then to the corner of the room and was gone. My husband leaped out of bed and ran outside to see where it went, and nothing was there.
A month

later each time I went to the kitchen sink something would run loudly up behind me and stop dead at my heels. I would turn around, and nothing was ever there. After several more times I told my husband who laughed it off and said it was air in the pipes. I told him ''go to the sink. Put your hands in there and push around a few dishes. Don't turn on the water. '' (I found this out that morning when it happened to me. ) It ran up behind him like it
