When I woke up the next morning the doll was sitting there again. I asked my grandmother if she had put it there but she said no. When I grew up my grandmother gave it to me so I put it in my attic. Well when I came home from my wedding it was sitting on my fire place. I asked my husband if he took it out of the attic and he said no.

My husband stationed at Aberdeen. We rented an apartment in a three-story old house run by older couple. We had a neighbor who claimed that she was a witch. Most other renters laughed at her, but she looked at me and said ''you know Betty. '' I said ''I had rather stay out of this. '' Her husband died, and she moved. She had a larger apartment, so we took it. I was a young bride and pregnant.

One night as I tried to sleep I felt like my legs went to sleep. As I turned, I and looked above the bed I saw a hooded face with a grinning smile. He looked at me, and I could hear it say ''I got you. '' I am a Christian, and my Lord is my life. I screamed for my husband, but he saw nothing, and it was gone. Sometimes in the morning I could hear pots and pans being rattled in the kitchen. I thought it was my friend who lived across the hall, but she had heard it also. She thought it was me.
Years later my husband was saved and received our Lord. One night as he was praying as we were in bed, I turned to see a dark black being leaving his body and disappear in the air. He said ''you will not believe what happened. '' Then he looked so happy, and I said ''you were saved. He said ''you are right. '' Then it all made sense.
