This happened to my husband and I in 2009 in September. We were driving home late one night coming back from visiting our terminally ill friend. When we were near a pedestrian crossing on Cox Road right outside the church. I told my husband to slow down for the lady to cross the road. My husband said to me ''What lady?'' I told him '' Right there, so slow down. '' He did slow down anyway, even though he insisted he didn't see anyone on the side of

the road.
Once we got to the crossing he completely stopped the car. He turned to me, ''Ok I stopped, but who's crossing the road?'' I looked and the

lady disappeared. I did see her when we were near, but once I turned to talk to my husband and was about to tell my husband there she was, she disappeared. It was right at the entrance to the church.
