You have not listed one ghost story from here in Kitzmiller MD. In the woods behind my home located in the upper part of Kitzmiller it is believed that the spirits of two former slaves lurk through it's trees.
My great great-grandparents told my grandmother that their home was haunted by the women. From playing the organ late at night to climbing up and down the stairs while they tried to sleep. One night my great great grandfather screamed at the spirits to leave when the spirits were coming up the stairs to their room.
Then many sounds filled the home then stopped. Though it may seem that they have went to rest my uncle only a few years ago said that he saw an African- American woman wearing old time clothing collecting bottles.

When he looked again she was gone.
