Okay I'm with my cousin and friend and we keep hearing noises above us because we are in my basement but whenever we go upstairs to investigate the noises stop. We also just heard my cabinets open and close and when we went up and my cabinet was open.
What did we do to deserve this? Please help. We're freaking scared.

Comment by Rick: Did you try to set up video camera to capture the area from where the noises came? Then go back to basement wait for the noises, go up review video. It may be your cat !.
