This was back in about 2000. I was at a dinner and bonfire at a house in Poolesville. The house was at the end of the driveway, and the bonfire was next to a cornfield closer to the entrance and about 20 yards away from another house, a run down 19th century Victorian style home.
After dinner we sat at the bonfire. I had a vantage point of the hospital and the house in the far background. Between the bonfire and the house I saw a figure walk out

of the woods toward the hospital. I could see that his pants were ironed, and they had a distinct crease on the front. He bee-lined for the front steps

of the hospital without glancing at us and without making a sound walked up the steps and disappeared through the door.
When it was time to leave for home, I asked our friend who lived at the other house. She said nobody did and that it was used a field hospital during the Civil War. She said it had been unused for a long time. Passing close by the hospital on the way back to our car, I could see that the front door and windows were all boarded
