ones in that horrible accident. I was haunted by one image that I remember one of the men relating that he had found a woman's finger and on the finger was her wedding ring.
I mention this last incident as I wondered if the spirits of those lost in the crash might be seen at the crash site. I began searching the internet to see if I could find any ghostly sightings but quit my search as I felt that I might be disrespecting the families.

Back around 1970 or 1971 my husband was station at the naval base there in Bainbridge. We stayed in a rooming house in Portsmouth without sailors. One night my husband had duty, and myself and one of the sailors that lived there were watching TV, and from the basement a mist came from the basement into the doorway in the shape of a man. We both saw it, and I could never go back in the basement too wash clothes again. Ever since that happened it made me a believer.

My son and I love to walk down Port Deposit. There are so many old homes and vacant buildings. There is one particular building which is a red barn. There is a plaque that tells you what the barn was used for. Never reading that sign before me and my son. Jacob was walking. We stopped just to take a look around, and I could hear crying. I could hear horses. Mind you, there was no wind blowing. It was probably about 99 degrees outside, very hot that day.
