''GHOSTLY IMAGE AT THE BURNSIDE BRIDGE''
In 2009, I was photographing areas of The Antietam Battlefield, where over 27000 men died during the bloodiest battle of the Civil War.
The photo has been authenticated by a Digital Forensic Scientist, Professor Hanny Farred at Dartmouth College. The raw image has not been manipulated in anyway. It is on display at Antietam Battlefield and the mayor's office in Sharpsburg, MD. And on record at The National

Archives in Washington DC.
Several images include an older man's face under the first arch of the bridge complete with forehead, eye browls, eyes,

pupils, nose, nostrils, lips and chin. There is also what appears to be a small girl in a red dress holding a teddy bear. This spectacular shot, was once in a lifetime, timing was right, lighting, shadows, all came together to give me this image, OR WAS IT SOMETHING ELSE!. Submitted by Geary

When visiting Antietam a few years ago me and my family decided to go down to the Mumma Farm Cemetery on the battlefield. The rest of my family had headed up to the car and I stayed a little later checking out the area.
