In 2001 my parents bought a duplex house off of South Main Street in Woodsboro. We spent three years living on one side and the last five on the other side. The house was built in the late 1860s from records, and the addition was added later. From what we gathered from historians the home was originally a funeral home. The older side was where they would have the funerals and prepare the bodies while the newer side was where the family would live. I could

write a book about the encounters my three sisters and I had in that home.
Our parents never believed us until a year before moving. We would hear

balls rolling in our attic as well as people whispering and crying in the middle of the night. My friends wouldn't stay the night because they themselves experienced haunting encounters. Now as I'm older remembering the layout of our kitchen and bathroom/laundry room, it made sense that that was where they prepped the bodies. The floor plan was very open in there.
