I was eight. My parents were renting a home in Albemarle for a while until we found a new home. The house was home to an old lady I used to know named Elisa. She lived next door to my grandparents untl she passed away earlier that year.
She loved me I know because she used to give candy to my grandparents to give to me. One night towards thanksgiving. I was asleep in bed alone. I awoke to that terrible cold chill they say you get when you witness a ghost.

My uncle passed away of a heart attack at a young age... A few weeks later I was lying in my bed praying and asking god to ''say hello'' to my late uncle for me. All of a sudden a wind whips up and pulls the covers over me ''tucking me in''. I did not feel scared instead I felt at peace...
