Around 1980 I was a child living in a house on S. Commerce Street in Aulander, NC. We lived there for approximately one year. About a week after moving in I heard my parents talking about weird things they were witnessing. I myself never witnessed anything at first. We would have family over, and they would also experience weird activity. My mother would talk about hearing voices and seeing people walk down the hall past the living room at night. There

were cold spots in the hall, and she even once saw me walk down the hall into the bathroom located at the end of the hall, but when she went to check

on me, I was not in the bathroom. I had never left my bedroom.
The voices would sometimes mimic family member's voices. The night we went to move out, my father and I went to a local store to get boxes, when we returned my mother was standing on the front porch waiting. As we started up the steps we heard very clearly and loudly, voices calling our names. My mother said ''they started this as soon as ya'll left. '' I was terrified and frozen. They
