I have a copy of a picture taken at the gateway campsite near Old Fort NC where a couple was having their picture taken. When they viewed the picture there was a little girl dressed in maybe late 1800's clothing standing behind them.
The child was transparent as you could see the end of the tent through her dress. The image was so plain you could actually see the smile on her face. It was almost like she posed for the picture.

I have lived near Bat Cave my whole life and have encountered the spirit if a woman with black hair and a beautiful white draped gown. She is always barefoot. Sometimes I would see her outside my window staring up at me and other times she has ran past me knocking me to the ground.
