They told him that when they had male friends sleep over the next day they would find their underwear tied in knots and or missing. I found this quite amusing. My friend lives in the house now and has not seen her but he keeps looking!.

I stayed with a friend one weekend as he was home from college. He went to NC state and I went to east Carolina University. We had been friends for years and his home was on Shamrock golf course just off hwy 49 south.

His mother had talked about a ghost in the house but her husband my friend's father always made fun of it. I never knew this until after I had shared my experience one morning with his parents after staying that evening.

This is what happened. We were playing football on Nintendo and it was about midnight. My buddy's dad came in and reninded us not to fall asleep with the game system on. We were bad about that. None the less we continued playing and became tired within the hour.
We turned averything off and decided to call it a night. The street light from a next door neighbor's back yard was well lit and shining into the living room. The couch and love seat sat perpendicular to one another with the couch having it's back to the golf course and the love seat where a I was sleeping (I'm 5''6) had it's back to that street light.
We fell asleep but I was awakened by a quick breathy undefinable sound in my ear. Best described as maybe the similar sound of an old analog phone with the sound of wind. Now keep in mind this woke me up.
