Walter M. Williams High School has a legend about a girl being stood up on prom night and pitching herself off the roof to her death. My friend's mother decided to humor us on Friday the thirteenth after we were coming back from seeing a movie, so we drove around the school 3 times going around Bulldog Alley. On the third time I looked towards the roof inwards towards the teacher parking lot, and I saw a girl falling. Since the gates were locked, and we were still driving. I couldn't go check to see if it was an actual person or the ghost, but when we got to the stop sign it was bleeding. Jenna and I even got out of the car and shined a flashlight on it. I reached out to touch it for gods sakes! It was blood! My hand was stained red! We were too freaked out to go back any time since then, but I swear you go out there and tell me this doesn't happen to you!.

My Family moved into a small rental house on E Market St. In Burlington, NC. It was a smaller two bed, one bath with a living room in the front of the house and a ''family room'' in the rear. Before moving in I discovered by talking to the neighbor that it had been abandoned by the last tenant and before that sat vacant for a few years. The inside of the house was in disarray, dirty carpets, kitchen floor vinyl was tore and stained and in a few rooms personal items were left behind.
We were able to strike up a deal with the landlord that if we painted, hung blinds, cleaned carpet, and removed the personal items for a few months rent. During this time we did not stay at the house at all and were gone before 9 - 10 pm each day. After about two weeks of cleaning, painting, mowing, throwing away etc. And the landlord approval for the exchange of rent for work we were ready for move in.
At first everything was normal, nothing but my wife, daughter, and myself along with two dogs that stayed in the fence outback of the house. About two weeks I noticed that the back bedroom used for my daughter's room was colder than the rest of the house. I checked the air ducts and the windows to make sure that there was no air flow coming in from those locations. After replacing the weather stripping around both windows and duct taping the ducts under the house it seemed to be back to normal.
