I'm a military brat, and the time frame for these occurrences is a little earlier than most of what I've read here. I lived with my family in Courthouse Bay from summer 1969 to summer 1971 in one of the eight officers' houses on the south side of Harvey Street. I won't say which one, so as not to disturb the present residents. The atmosphere of that house was extremely oppressive. I recall never feeling happy there, which was quite different from all the

other places I lived. It seems I came down with the flu every six months in that house.
The worst incident happened late in the night or early

in the morning in late 1969 or early 1970. The house has three bedrooms and a maid's quarters near the garage. I had a bedroom to myself while my two brothers had the other bedroom, and my parents had the master bedroom. I usually wouldn't sleep in my bedroom as nights there were kind of frightening to an eight or nine-year-old kid, and as my brothers' bedroom had two sets of bunk beds, I'd usually sleep in there with them.
