I was coming home from work late one night. I remember I was on Monroe Street. It was a very quiet night I noticed. I wasn't driving very fast then I saw this young man sitting on the side of the road with a broken arm.
He had a cast on his left arm. I thought maybe he needed help so I simply pulled over and asked him if he needed help. He replied ''thank you. I'll be fine I just don't want to leave just yet. I miss my family.''

I asked him ''what do you mean? Do you need a ride home? '' I also said to him that he can borrow my phone to call home. He said ''no thank you. I'll be fine. '' so I took off but I looked back just to make sure he was OK.

He wasn't there any more. I realized the place I stopped was just right outside a funeral home. I do hope he is fine.
