I rented this little house walking distance from Taylor's store. Before I moved in there was a lot of work that had to be done. One of the first things I noticed were crosses in olive oil over the doorways in the home. We painted the entire house, and those crosses never disappeared. At the time my boys were three and five. My oldest son would never stay in that house for some reason. He always wanted to stay with my mom.
Well, one night he stayed, and he woke me up early the next morning crying to leave and go to my mom's house. He told me he saw a man in the kitchen with a top hat on. A couple of months went by, and one night we were watching horror movies with all the lights off. This was summer time, so we had a fan going to help cool it off. Once the movie went off before anyone could turn on the light we heard this loud thump. We turned on the light to find the fan lying in the other room in the middle of the floor. No one touched it, so how did it get there was the question.
Well, I moved maybe two months after that. Almost four years after I moved one of my friends showed me a picture that had been taken inside the home. Sitting there on the left hand corner was a face of the man with the top hat.
