I was a Company Commander for HHC 530th S & S Battalion from 2000-2002. My Co HQ (WWII barracks) was located in the COSCOM area. As the Co Cdr, I was the first one to arrive every morning around 05:30. I started hearing steps on the second floor (old wood) and metal to metal noises coming from upstairs constantly. Noises stopped completely, but then shadowy apparitions started to occur. Not frequent, but frequent enough for my NCOs to notice that ''someone was roaming the halls and getting into my office. '' Black shadows walking in the hallways, etc. My HQ has been torn down and modernized lodging looking soldiers barracks are built there now, but it would be interesting to find out if ''they'' still roam the
