One night back in 1992 I was driving home from a friend's house on Myrtle School Rd. in Gastonia. It was around 1:00 in the morning and there were no other cars on the road at the time. As I was driving I saw someone walking on the other side of the road going the same way I was going.
But as I got closer I saw that it was a girl/woman in a white wedding dress holding a book. She never looked at me but as I passed her I noticed that I couldn't see her feet. It scared me so bad that I was afraid to look in my mirror.

But I did anyway. She never looked up and she had this creepy angry look on her face. Needless to say I got the heck down the road scared to death! I've only told that story to a few people. But I know what I saw I would just like some validation.

My wife and I moved up here from Southeast Alabama. We moved to Oaks at Edgemont Apartments. We really liked the place and found out that the apartment we were in IS HAUNTED! I personally have seen a beautiful young lady wearing clothing that looked like it was from the 1940s maybe. We have also seen flickering lights, heard, and seen stuff moved. I've seen and we both have heard one of the bedroom doors VIOLENTLY shake. We never feel threatened, nor do we ever feel scared. We think she just wanted to make her presence known. I've also seen one time what seemed to be a young child standing in the corner of the hallway, and every once in a while I'll see things that I can't tell what they are, but to us it's pretty cool. We've had everything from friendly spirits to evil spirits at every place we've lived.
