My sister's house on Pisgah Church Road is haunted by her ghost and many cats that were buried in the back garden. She was a hoarder and cat woman. After she died my family stayed there for a week. We heard walking cats in the walls and screaming. The lights were going on and off. I put down on the selling papers that it was haunted.

Interesting comment, Tom. However, there is no evidence of burial on the Downing Street property. I worked in the early 1980s at Guilford battleground and did a great deal of research on the battle of Guilford courthouse. However, in the 1970s the Westminster graveyard was burying a lot of people, and I recall when playing there in the early 70s soldiers killed in Vietnam were being buried there weekly. I never got the impression though that our house was haunted by any human spirit, but that something not human at all that was very evil. I think the property has some sort of history and not the house, but I do not think the battlefield can explain the haunting.
