I had this really spooky tree in my yard that would scare my son. He said it looked like a giant ghost when it moves in the wind at night. I just brushed it off as childish non-sense like any normal mother would.
But one night I went to check on him before I went to bed like I always do. I looked out of his window and I thought to myself: that tree actually does look very spooky and scary. That week I called a guy to come and cut it down.

night after we had the tree cut down I awoke to the sound of breaking glass followed by my son hysterically screaming in panic. I ran to his room and

the window was broken and there was a big tree branch on the floor.
After that he slept with us and we moved out soon after.
