When I was about 5 years old I lived on king St. In Hillsborough NC. My parents had recently divorced and my dad moved about 3 doors down from my mom. It was an older house and my dad had a lot of antique furniture from auction.
It was late evening and I was jumping and dancing on the foot of my dads bed while he laid and watched. I saw something out of the corner of my eye and turned to look. At a 5 year old standpoint it looked like a skeleton walked

by the bedroom door.
I became hysterical. Dad calmed me down and assured me it was nothing. My dad moved soon after. When I was about 18 I brought

it up to dad. He told me it wasn't the house that was haunted but the bed.
He told me that he was about to pull out of the driveway one day when he noticed an elderly woman with a red book standing at our door as if to knock. He got out and looked down for a second. When he looked back up she was gone.
He looked all around the house and knew an old lady surely couldn't run that fast. Another time his car was jolted into reverse and gassed itself
