Right across from Graveyard island and Palmer island up on the hill from Palmerville Road you can see weird lights and hear whispers late at night. There are many graveyards on Graveyard island from where bodies were relocated when the lake was built, or actually I should say when part of the land was damned up and flooded. There are also Indian burial mounds on those grounds. It's a spooky place even during the day time. You can access it by walking the old

train tracks 3 miles down Whitney Road or pull up by boat to the islands. Some say Turkey island is also haunted, but I've never experienced anything

strange over there.

I used to live in Ashboro NC . I used to live down Crystal Wood Road and every night I heard voices like war time and horses hoofs and screaming of women. I remember once I went to go get water and I saw my salt shaker being picked up and put on the fridge and put back on the table. I ran to my nana's room and ended up sleeping in her room, now I live in Florida Newberry. I believe it's haunted.
