I was alone in my house one day. My parents had just gone to the store and I was watching television. I was in the middle of a movie and the TV turned off. I got up and turned it back on and then I heard a creak in the floor behind me followed by a cold breath.

I ran out and turned back and I saw a white transparent ''thing'' on all fours crawling after me. Call me crazy and don believe me but I think something is wrong with my house.

My two daughters and I were staying with a friend because of some family problems. My kids were asleep in the living room, and I was in the bedroom. I thought I heard one of my kids say ''mama,'' but when I went into the living room they were both asleep. When I went to walk back to the bedroom I heard it again. I was terrified. So I went back to the bedroom telling my friend what I had heard. While I was explaining we heard shampoo bottles and things in the bathroom being knocked over. And that was when she told me that the ghost of a short old woman who used to live in the house still lingers around and watches over her house.
