I was with my best friend hope down at Crestview Park and as we were heading back to my house my friend got my attention and asked if I saw a person near the big tree near the big kids playground next to the steps.
I looked where she was pointing and my mouth dropped. Right there in plain view was a young girl in a Victorian type dress and a dark sash around her waist. She had long dark hair and a bow in her hair.

It was as if she was looking at us and as if she heard our thoughts she waved and as she did so she disappeared.

I used to live on Crestview Street in Rutherfordton. My mom had watched some movies and I had accidently fallen asleep in bed with her. During the night I was half asleep but awake enough to know what was going on around me.
I felt a fist come up through the mattress and made my upper half arch from the impact. My mom was awake and witnessed this happening. I shot up in bed and sat there looking at her. We soon heard a growling coming from the closet near the door to the hallway.
We had cats but this was not a cat growl. My mom and I looked at each other and said in unison for I'm the name of Jesus Christ go back to where you belong and after several attempts we were successful.
