I did my senior term paper in ghosts of North Carolina and a haunted house in Spring Lake was one of my subjects. There were many strange things that happened there as late as the 1970's and as early as the late 1800s. Was curious if it was still there.

I had some experiences with ghosts on Ray road. I asked some questions about who use to live there and I didn't let on why I was asking. Was told that a woman that lived in the house I was in and the a man next door was having a fling as some people call it both were still married to other people.

They were caught by their spouses and wasn't suppose to see each other any more and they both committed suicide. No wonder it was eerie in my house.

Question:? I lived in Spring Lake NC 1974... The name of the trailer Park at that time was odells trailer park. I have a very similar story... Along with many others. I wondered if this was the same location'' (in reference to Civil War ghost).
