We have recently moved to an older renovated apartment on Memorial Park Drive, which sits adjacent to Thomasville City Cemetery. Once we were settled in, I could feel an ominous presence lurking in the upstairs hallway. I began hearing heavy footsteps on my stairs. Mind you, this is an apartment. There will be tons of noises due to neighbors. At the time the footsteps were being heard no one lived on either side of us. I could hear heavy walking and

breathing even though I would have in earbuds in listening to music.
I have witnessed a young boy peering out from the corner of the stairwell.

My children, brother, and I have heard a young child playing in the back bedroom. The atmosphere feels like this little entity is waiting for someone. As I began unpacking once we moved in, I was in the process of putting my porcelain dolls into the China cabinet, and I heard a child's voice ask, ''what is that?'' I answered explaining they were my dolls. I felt silly, but he responded with inquisitive questions.
