eyes. It was so bad that it stung our face and arms. When we had our eyes shut, we were lifted off the ground like we had a rope around us. I opened my eyes and could see the roof looking down on it but had to shut them for all the dirt. All at once it stopped, and we were about 15 feet from where we started on the ground. We both had the sensations of weightlessness.
The wind had stopped, and we were covered in dirt and ran back to the car.

Tim never saw any wind and never saw us flying. We all ran inside, and the owner got our dad, and we went home. To this day he says we made it up, but

we all saw something just don't know what.

My grandparents lived off Fuller Mill near Old Post Office Road. Daddy used to tell of a ghost of a little girl with no eyes wandering around the woods. She was supposedly found in a well in the early 1900s near there. Her eyes had been poked out, and it was thought to be a murder I believe.
Granny has seen her off and on up until she passed a few years ago. My son was around 4 and said he saw a small girl with a dirty dress and no eyes telling him to follow her to the river one day. He was four! We had never spoke of it to him. It was freaky.
