Comment by Mhistorybuff: I had a teacher in school that lived off Blue Quartz Drive. She told us her whole family would see a little girl with eyes gone all the time outside. Sometimes the girl would be inside the home as well. They ended up moving away. I'm not saying how long ago as not to reveal my age!.

While on patrol in Hillsville late at night I have seen several strange objects floating in mid air. Sometimes it was like a towel or cloth that was 2 or 3 times the size of a bath towel. It was almost like a flag waving, but it was hanging there not advancing any direction.

I have seen it off the road 50 to 100 yards away. I stopped one night, turned on my lights, and got out but couldn't see it anymore. I was convinced it was a reflection on my window of some sorts. The closest I got was in the winter. It had been snowing. The weather was cold but clear, and I saw it closer to the road. I turned around, went back, and slowed down. Then my radio started making weird tones and static. I stopped the car and looked. It was like a circle type cloth waving with no snow under it. It was just like it had been there the whole day while it was snowing.
I got my phone to take a picture and figured the window would block the flash, so I got out, shined a light, and saw nothing. Gone. Snow was now there undisturbed. I took a couple of pictures and nothing. Before there was grass not covered in snow. Now it was covered with snow like everywhere else. I got cold chills and got in the car. I kept looking there over passenger seat to see if I could discern anything, and my radio shrieked. I looked forward, and to my left the wind was blowing snow everywhere like a blizzard about 30 feet off the road on the other side of a fence as I was looking something hit the roof of the car.
I was thinking it was a snowball from some kids or something, but it was 3:30ish, and nobody was out, and there were no lights on anywhere. I hit my strobes and stepped out to see a dead crow had hit the roof and slid down the back glass on the trunk. The wind had stopped, and the radio was silent just the clicking of my strobes and the hum of my engine.
