When I got to the farm house I stopped the car and turned the car off, the lights in the house were out and they had probably gone to bed . I didn't know why my gut was telling me to go out there but as I started to start the car I saw something out in the field, it was a man.
He was tall and had something on his shoulder like a gun and a Civil War Union hat on . That night I went home scared not knowing what to do. I decided to tell no one of

2004 was the year that I have a very vivid and horrific memory of! This is a story that will be told for many generations to come in my family! It all starts on a very rainy night. It was a Friday night about 11:30pm.
Me and my friend along with our two girlfriends were just leaving my parents house on Jonathan Creek rd near Maggie Valley NC. I was driving and we had plans to all go back to my house in Clyde NC and watch some movies.
Well I'm driving about 60mph and all of our eyes are glued to the hwy because it was raining soo hard we could barely see in front of the car! As we're driving it was very quiet in the car for some odd reason and then outta nowhere everyone in the car including myself starts screaming bloody murder! There was an old woman wearing a red gown with grey hair and her hair was pulled up in a bun on her head! This woman was running in a ''dead sprint! '' head on in the middle of our lane right for us? ! I never even had time to jerk the wheel or anything! My girl friend literally jumped in to my lap as we all saw the woman get hit by the front of our car but the car never budged an inch! It was as if she went straight through the car!! Well of course we all couldn't believe what just took place but yet again it was soo real that we called the state troopers to come and assist us in looking for a body. But one was never located and they obviously thought we were all drinking or under the influence of something?? But none of us had even the first sip of alcohol nor did any of us use drugs at all! And when I passed the sobriety test with flying colors that's when they let us go on our way.
