There's a big tree behind town hall that has an angry ghost attached to it. Where the tree is today was once the scene of a murder where a young woman was murdered and left for dead. She haunted the spot for years and then a tree grew there and she attached herself to the tree.
On very hot summer nights you can see the outline of her as a cloudy shape, and if you go near the tree when that happens you can smell rotting flesh. That's her body decomposing.
