I remember when I was young the elders used to tell the story about the green baby under the tree near Milledge Village Road. The story has not been told in about 20 years now. Does anyone remember? I remember bits and pieces of the story.

I was sleeping in my trailer at Hunting Island State Park Camp Ground when I heard a faint knocking on the door. I thought it was a dream until I felt a weight on my bed as something crawled over me. I get chills thinking of it now.

My husband and I were walking on the beach right behind the light house on Hunting Island on July 19 2014 when I heard a young child like voice singing. I looked around and didn't see any children around but I happened to look up from the beach back towards the light house and a faded apparition of a little girl was standing in the sea grass looking out to sea.
I was startled to say the least.
