Near Hardeeville SC stopped one night in 1986 at the crossing of some old abandoned railroad tracks on SC 141. It was dark and we were star gazing when we heard screams coming out of the woods!!! Well it scared us off and years later I discovered that a Carload of people were killed at this very spot when they slammed into a train passing by.
I have wondered if those screams were from the people that were killed there.

I lived in Bluffton in 2004 coming from Michigan. Off simmonsville Rd. I believe it was windmill subdivsion.. Our apartment was built on a grape field. One night I was awaken to see a man standing at the edge of my bed..
I was frightened to see that he was a soldier he keept looking up.. My husband suffered a stroke a few weeks later.. 3 months later he came home from the hospital.. The next night I awoke to see a slave women standing there praying..
I felt complete peace. Their truly was someone whatching over us.. Thank you Bluffton s Carolina.. I worked at knickle pumpers....
