There's a nasty presence in the Lawson Fork Valley off of Old Furnace Rd and the Brannon Belcher Rd/Sugar Ridge Rd area. My mothers house is there and from summer of 1991 until 2003 there was a poltergeist.. Or something demonic in nature.

In Boiling Springs, SC where the CVS pharmacy is now located, there used to be a duplex that my family and I lived in for a few years. It was located at the back of CVS where you go towards the drive through. I lived there from age 4 through 6 years old. Many nights I would wake up to see shadows and objects float across the ceiling that looked like figures and even animal forms that had passed on and going on to the next life. I was never really afraid and was always fascinated as I watched because I did not understand it.
There was one time I heard someone open our front door and walk into my bedroom, but I never saw the figure come back out. I was sleeping with my mother that night because my father was working the night shift. I asked him the next morning if he had come home, but he dismissed me as asking him a stupid question. Another time a dark entity came in to the room and approached me. I was once again sleeping with my mother because my father was working night shift. I jumped off the bed and ran screaming into my room, locking the door. It shook my mother up so bad (hearing me screaming) that she called the preacher in the middle of the night and had him pray for me.
We finally moved when my parents were able to buy their first home, and I did not have any more paranormal experiences. That was 40 years ago. The house has since been demolished, and CVS pharmacy is built in front of the old lot. I was never able to find out anything about the house or the property.
