When I was dating my first wife who live on Desaussure Street. I took her home one night then drove to Sarsfield Avenue. I took a left turn. As I drove down Sarsfield, I saw a figure walking toward me. As I approached a street light, I glanced over at the figure and it appeared to be a guy dressed in a monk's robe. I couldn't see his face because the hood he wore shadowed his face. My ex always talked about the gray lady, but I'm not superstitious,

so I put it out of my mind. Years later I read about a guy who had escaped a massacre of Hugenots in France disguised as a monk. His name was Francois

Boulivard, I think. A chill then ran up my spine.
