I was in my friends house of Brookfield near Forest Lake Elementary School while his parents were out of town. We had not started to drink or anything as it was early yet around 6:30 pm. He lives four houses down from an old house that was used to house German pow's in Columbia during WWII.
While he was in the kitchen I had the distinct feeling I was being watched and jerked my head to the left towards the doorway for the hall. I saw a boney gaunt

figure with a distinct German soldier helmet and a curiously morbib look almost grin on his face.
I was scared at what I was seeing and did a double
|
take- the apparition had disappeared / vanished. Upon telling my friend he confided in me that his sister had seen a woman walking in the yard on multiple occasions and when his mother and he looked towards where his sister (young sister) was pointing there was nothing.
There have been other sightings on the property which I am not aloud to discuss- even under the guise of anonimity.
