Lynch River County Park way back in the old days lived 3 brothers that lived in a house where the park is now. The 3 brothers were killed stilling stomp hole as everyone knows. They have been several sighting. They were drowned, so I've been told by an old man that passed away here a while back, story go. Now this is exactly as it was told. I'm not naming names. Ok, here it goes.
One day a man from the area went to go shave and stopped by the river by the old house that they played cards in, but is no longer there (but the new museum for the parks right about there now. ) He heard a booming noise coming from the house so he grabbed his 22 and went to the house and flipped the beds up to look for something or someone but nothing. He heard a loud noise. The house started to shake. He lived, and his brothers moved away from there because they had seen the light on in the old church. They went to see who was there. They pulled up to see 3 headless men rocking on porch. They got out of there. The church sat where the dome building is at, and the playground at the park is an old graveyard, so I've been told. At night you can still hear ghost in the park, and stuff still goes on. Folk tale, maybe. But I heard and have seen it with my own 2 eyes!.

Comment by Jason: This story is true, but it doesn't bother us, locals. There is more to this story than what is told, but pretty much what this person said is true. Lots of murder mystery happened in the old days, but the ones that done it is long gone. It only happens a few times of the year! Hauntings that is.

On N Old Georgetown Rd in the early morning hours I saw some thing that resembled a bigfoot run across my mom's yard as I was coming up towards her home. I searched cautiously and saw nothing... It took me about 15 minutes of looking around before I went inside...
I've never been so scared in my life. It ran between her home and Catfish Rd.. which people won't quit stealing the road sign...
