A few years back, when I was a freshman at Limestone College my friend's and I decided to visit part of the Cowpens Battlefield. We had heard that the battlefield was seriously haunted. Well, we had visited around midnight, which was when we were told is the best time to go. Well we had walked in through the back part of the park. I could hear a cannon firing in the distance. And next thing I saw was both Confederate and British soldiers, who

were crippled and mangled. These were normal soldiers, not normal ghosts. I saw pointed teeth and demon eyes.
I stood there, observed, and took

it all in. They weren't able to get in reach of me. My roommate at the time was from Maryland, and decided to try a tale he had heard about jumping in and out of the gate 3 times. And what he had heard was, ''You may have won, but we will get you!!!'' It scared him so bad, now I wouldn't go alone. But, this battlefield still intrigues me. I hope I will get to see more sightings. Submitted by Justin
