It bothered me back then but until that night I was told the same thing too I had not thought about it for year's. That demon was able to pull something out of my memory that scared me and use it against me that night to terrify me.
It amazed me that when I heard a cough beside me it sounded just like a guy I was having problems with back then who was jealous of me because of a woman who liked me more than him. Not only did this thing get memories

out of my mind but it manipulated it's voice to sound like other people it wasn't.
Only a demon can throw very big and heavy pictures across a room,

know the unknowable, and imitate other voices exactly. I do not think you young ghost hunters can begin to understand what you want to go up against because you would be messing with beings that God had cast out of heaven and if you go looking for it and you may find it.
The only reason I made it out of the house was because of my faith in the father son and holy ghost. Also because I was baptized as a child and that put me under the protection of God
