We moved up the road into a trailer because we couldn't afford the house, and the trailer in front of us is a paranormal investigator. We told him about the house and he said he has heard the same stories and he says if something is pulling down at our feet it could be a well, someone could have fallen and died down in it.
We had 2 wells and one was right below our house, so I think he was right. We weren't really in Greenville, more like Lyman

I was staying at my friends house on hwy 25 in Travelers Rest and a lot of strange things happened in that house. My friend's wife asked me one day to quit leaving the bathroom light on. I just agreed and said OK..
Not telling her I didn't go to the bathroom. This continued along with other strange things.. And his wife started noticing them to as a ghost or something.. I mean what else could it have been..
TV turning itself on at night and the sound on the TV distorting itself. Then last night I stayed there I was laying on the couch with my head facing the hallway, I usually laid the other way so I could see down the hallway..
