The TV in my mom's room has turned on 2 times. It happened last night and turned to the channel I had been watching. The movie ''Little Girl's Secret'' was on and it's a movie about a ghost girl named Helen.
It's based on the book ''Wait Till Helen Comes'' by Mary Downing Hahn. This has been occurring out of the blue and we don't know why this is happening. My mom has experienced paranormal things such as an orb on the curtain next to her bed, smelling

breakfast being cooked but no one was cooking anything and other things.
I haven't experienced anything myself at that house but I'm a bit creeped

out.

The last two houses my family and I have lived in Hampton were on Grace Road and McIlwain Road. They have had ghosts in them. My stepdad has witnessed both. Usually he would be up late each night, and the door to the room he was in would randomly open when the rest of us were sleeping. He would also get cold chills down his back although he doesn't get cold much at all. Also one of them according to my stepdad somehow caused him pain after he had an argument with my mom. He said he felt a tightness in his throat and chest making it difficult to breathe.
On McIlwain when we first moved in a lady knocked on our door telling us that her grandmother had died in this very house. She was also very fond of it and always making sure it was safe. The McIlwain ghost would only appear after something in the house was broken.
