I live on hwy 414 Landrum, SC. We have seen many shadows in 8 years. White bright cloud hovering at 3 am beside my front deck. After this happened a day later I was at work at Demitis on Hwy 11 and 14 I had a customer tell me she was watching me for months. I asked why; she said she knew I could see or have ghost around me.
She asked where I lived, and turns out she and her husband had looked to buy the property I live on and didn't because when they were there the minute her foot hit the ground all she could see were dead Indians.
I have had other experiences growing up at all ages.

Looking for answers? My husband and I were traveling I 26 to Asheville, NC. I am not sure if we were in the Green River Valley or in Landrum. As we approached a bridge all seemed normal. About half way across my husband jerked the truck into the other Lane for fear of hitting the woman / person on the bridge.
We assumed it was a woman because there was a definite indication of this person carrying a red purse. The figure was totally grey and almost misty. We both saw it at the same time and I turned in my seat to make sure the vehicles following us didn't hit her.
