The next morning at breakfast I reported my sighting. My wife's first cousin's husband is a minister. She entered the kitchen and said ''Did you just say ghost? There was one in our room last night. I don't believe in ghosts, but I told him to get out, and he did.'' (I found that ironic. ) She also reported she was not threatened by his presence but was uncomfortable being watched over by a stranger. Understandably.

I was five years old that I was an officer who served with George Washington in Valley Forge. I was born in the Land of Lincoln, Illinois and married a Southern gal.
